The anzac war took place in gallipoli on april 25 1915 nearly 50,000 anzacs went to war and 11,000 sadly died in gallipoli and after that war finish they packed up went on to in more wars and kept fighting for there country when they went on to win their first war in 1918 against ottoman empire and as they kept fighting they lost more men.. To show respect those man that fought in the army ever 25 of april we honor those men. Lest we forget
